Twitch

Last week, we had the inaugural Sugar Springs Halloween party stream over on Twitch and it was honestly a blast! We did some fun Halloween-themed costume sketches and I let people use their channel points (earned by watching my streams) to redeem me bobbing for apples in exchange for prizes! I was offering everything from private zoom lessons, to prints, to freebies from my shop. And if you were wondering, with all the apple bobbing, my costume makeup definitely did not survive the night, as you can see:

With the success of our Halloween party, I am leaning very heavily towards doing another one for Christmas, and I hope you can join me! All details will be announced on my social media, but if you want to get more updates (and make suggestions on some of the activities), come join my Discord!

Also, don’t forget to head over to Twitch and give me a quick follow if you want to know when I’ll be live next! Not every week is a full-on party, but we still have a lot of fun with photoshoots, editing, sewing, and crafting!

Green Rider: First Rider’s Call

I’ve made it a little over halfway through all the photos I need to edit. I’m currently working on the intense, photoshop-heavy images, so it’s been a little slow going the last several weeks.

The good news? Once I get these last few composition-heavy images finished, I’ll be in the home stretch. The rest of the photos will be relatively easy to edit… at least, I hope so!

My plan is to start working on the artbook towards the end of the year. My Patreon patrons (and any crowdfunding backers who have behind the scenes access as part of their pledge) will of course get some sneak peeks during the process.

Also, don’t forget! If you couldn’t decide which add-ons you wanted during the fundraising campaign, remember that lots of them are still available. A few of them will ONLY be available through the end of the year, with the rest being in the shop until March 2022! There is a strong chance these add-ons won’t be available after that, so if you want an item, we STRONGLY ENCOURAGE purchasing it now!

Patreon

There aren’t a WHOLE lot of updates, with things full-steam ahead with Green Rider, but I DID want to put out this little note of thanks to my Patreon patrons – I truly appreciate everyone who has joined me over on Patreon over the last month (as well as, of course, those of you who have been in it for the long haul with me). It means so much to me, and I’ll never be able to thank you enough!

Every time I get an email saying I have a new patron, three things happen:

  1. I get super, ridiculously excited,
  2. I question why anyone would want to follow and support me (like normal people do when they’re trying to make their passion into a career), and
  3. I immediately panic and want to make sure I’m doing everything I can to ensure you’re enjoying your time in my little corner of the world.

Anyway…thank you again, and I can’t wait to keep sharing my art with you! And if you’re been thinking about joining, you can do so by clicking below!

Looking for ways to support me and my art?

I love hanging out with my community during my streams, and I am so excited every time someone new comes in. If you want to join us, follow me on Twitch or join my Discord to be notified when I go live!

I also have people ask how they can support me, especially during times like these when I don’t have a ton of inventory in my store or prints for sale. One thing that is always an option (and free!) is to engage with me – and my content – online. I post every weekday on Facebook and Instagram, and I stream at least three days a week.

If you’re looking for something a little more tangible, I would love to have you as a subscriber on Twitch or become a patron of mine – my Patreon tiers start as low as $1/month!

Whether you’re just leaving an encouraging comment (which helps me feel encouraged and inspired to keep doing what I’m doing), or providing monetary support (which allows me to purchase supplies, enter contests, and participate in fun collaborations with other artists), know that every little contribution is SO helpful!
