Growing up, one of my favorite things was family trips on Saturdays out to Garfield, a small town in rural Arkansas with a population of just over 500 people. Tucked along the winding forested road leading to Missouri was my family’s favorite garden center, as well as Martin Greer’s Candy Shop.
